That would be disappointing if they did away with AA’s. It made Halo more interesting.

Spartan Abilities available for everyone from start, which require skill to use (slides, maybe wall jumps, rolls etc).
They should only be worth to do in certain situations, giving u only a little advantage

i have to admit, i enjoyed them. it was fun to me.
but i understand the people who are against it, they’re
the majority & there have been countless good & valid arguments
against AA’s & why they’re no-good to matchmaking.
i won’t miss them.
Now if we could just keep personal loadouts. Preferably with some altering.

Sorry gents, but… I’m with him. (A certain few, though.)
Obviously the armor abilities are replaced by Spartan abilities, but these are much more basic in the sense of a thruster pack and less of a game breaker like cough cough Armor lock, jetpack, etc.
Yes that would be very disappointing if it meant no armour abilities at all. No Autosentry, or jetpack. I want halo 5 to have arena portion but also this more, Loadout section.
Then I will keep my promise to troll everyone with the most abusable feature out of complete spite. I want armor abilities to stay.

i’m not seeing th problem, these and all the other aa are more trouble then they are worth having. its time to drop the fat and 343 has finally realized this

I don’t want a halo where everything has been stripped and call it arena and only have that.
For the main arena component? Okay. But to remove all that from the game? No. That would mean that 343i hasn’t learnt well.
As long as AAs (TP,evade etc not ones like JP,PV,AL and AC) become base player traits I welcome it…

What if these spartan abilities are AA re-tooled for everyone to use at once off spawn, without having to pick and choose different ones? This is a much better solution to the rock-paper-scissors aspect of Reach and 4. If everyone can do everything any one else can, what’s so bad?
Im pretty glad to see that. I still find it hard to be true, but I really hope AA are gone for good.
Let’s not forgot armour abilities and custom games. Removing them would damage custom games possibilities too. And in PVE or firefight.

the last time 343 catered to your demands, we got halo 4 and look how little people are playing. broken mechanics are broken mechanics, 343 has learned the to the majority of halo players, AA doesn’t work
