Don’t get the pack unless you’re already up to date getting armor from previous post launch content.
The pack may say “Including 14 newly released weapon skins” but that only means the weapon skins are added into the pool on the 5 custom items you receive. It is not 5 post launch customs plus 14 new weapons skins.
I didn’t notice this and ended up wasting three days of hard playtime getting 4 crappy weapons skins for the magnum and a set of “rare” seeker armor (which is one of the worst set of the post launch content). Don’t be an idiot like me. This pack is only meant for the people who already have most of the post launch content and are only missing a few pieces of armor AT MAX. THIS PACK IS NOT WORTH THE 80000 YOU SPEND ON IT. Your time and points are much better spent on the normal gold and silver packs if you’re behind on armor. Don’t make the same mistake I stupidly did.

you’d think for a limited time offer in celebration of the halo championship, 343 would actually make it 5 post launch items + 14 weapons skins since that’s not only what 10 -Yoink- dollars should get you, but it’s for a special occasion no less. Thanks a lot 343. As someone whose been a staunch defender of you from the get go, going so far as defending the hated req system up and lack of split screen until now, I have to say this RIPOFF made me lose faith in you. It made me lose faith in your vision for halo. But worst of all, it proved to me that 343 doesn’t care for the players the way it should. Sure you guys bring us a touching story on occasion, but at the end of the day it’s still about the money for you. You don’t give a rats -Yoink- about us as long as you get that. Quite frankly, I don’t know why I expected more.
See you again when halo 6 comes out, or whatever halo title it is you launch next. I’m sure I’ll still buy it, because I’m shameless. But at least now I know what I should be expecting.
I apologize if I sound upset, it’s because I am. I don’t get much time to play halo, which is undoubtedly my favorite series, between college and work. At most I log in a few game a week only enough for a silver pack or two, and I certainly don’t have the money to pay for gold packs. The one time I get enough time to work up points, I do for this armory pack and this let down happens. I think my anger is justified.
