Is this some new armor? Are people already modding multiplayer?
It’s kind of hard to play SWAT against someone who does not have a head.

It does seem to be something thats being reported more and more
There would be only one way to edit a player model in such a way, and that would be via modification, so guessing its time 343i and MS enforcement need to jump on this before it gets out of control
As the gamertag is visible in that photo, hopefully action will be taken, and swiftly
Even if the helmet is not visible, the hitbox for the head is still there and aim assist will still track it.
You know what, I actually quite relish the idea of getting matched up against a Headless Spartan in SWAT - if I managed to get an assassination, that’d make for an awesome screenshot.
And aren’t Spartans supposed to be muscular? I have more on my that that thing and I’m a twig!

I’m not sure, it’s almost like it was not there at all. I play majority swat and do quite well with head shots, though I could barely touch this person. Head shots were not happening. I believe he went 34 and 5. He sat up on top of the map and just picked people off.
Whatever happens, 343i and MS Enforcement need to jump in this immediately, make an impact right away that modders will be perma banned and perma banned quickly
The clown in the image has put his Spartan back to normal, clearly knowing its something that can be manually done, and not some system glitch

Even then some people jsut keep buying new consoles cause they just dont care

Yeah, Modding is a severe issue on Halo 4, I’ve got several Theater videos of some really bad ones.
Just to give you a heads up a mod will close this thread, and email you threatening you with a perma-ban, because when I posted about mods, thats what they did to me… They are trying to keep a extremely tight lid on the modding situation.
But I’ve had games where people had infinite ordnance drops(no video), I have a video of people rubberbanding, other players specifically me, I have video, of invulnerable mods, I have aimbot video, Then I have someone who tried to mod their Battle Rifle into an automatic, by lagging the game. I have video of someone who completely took my Ordnance away. Then someone who spawned in with standard loadouts in flood mode and killed everyone
but people may not experience it like I have it(because I have very VERY bad luck when it comes to match making)

It does sound like you have some terrible luck, lol. This is the first time I’ve seen something like this, though i’ve had games where it appears someone is intentionally lagging to gain an edge.
Eh, if they close the thread that is fine, I just thought it was interesting and curious if it was something new. I’ve googled a bit since then and it appears to be a pretty known occurrence now.
This kind of thing is being dealt with guys.

They will never get banned. Gov has been playing since the game first came out and he still hasnt been banned for doing that.

NOPE. Only body shots hit them.
