I want to re-color my armor so that it stand out a bit more, but I don’t know what to do. Could I get some opinions about what colors I should do for the CQB visor and the Vigilant watcher armor? It would be well appreciated 
Try everything and see what works for you, every colour suits a different type of armor.
Just pick a combo that describes yourself the most. My Recon GEN1 + Mark VI Satrap combo is wonderful and most of the classic helmets (namely CQB, EOD, EVA GEN1, Mark V Delta, and the aforementioned Recon GEN1) are a near-perfect match with it.
By the way, are you enjoying that Nightfall set I gave you a while back?

I am, it’s awesome! :))
I went with the mark v delta helmet and a moss colour to feel more quintessentially halo esc. As some of the armours are absolutely horrible in their design.

Normally when I wear Vigilant Watcher, I use a neutral color and aqua because aqua matches those light blue highlights on it. My usual Vigilant Watcher setup is silver+aqua with a Beltane visor. That should look good with the CQB helmet, too. But if your goal is to stand out, then maybe you should choose a non-neutral primary color to go with, and match the visor to it. Perhaps a warm color to contrast with the cool aqua?
