Really wish you could still unlock armor as you leveled up instead of hoping you get what you want in REQ packs.
Agree. I also wish the armor was more customizable.
Agreed. The fact they’ve made it so you need to get req points to do this is alright, but completely getting rid of any level unlocks is ridiculous.
It in a way gives incentive to play, once you reach the max level (dont know if their is one) you may have everything and not want to play anymore, by making you earn the points, to get the pack that gives you the chance, will atleast lengthen the amount of playing time many will have in the game, because they want to earn that armor.

That’s artificially prolonging peoples play-time…not cool.
There is alot of Amor that´s for sure but lack of choices too customize your Spartan, But REQ system is pretty much Luck If you wan´t the armor .

I agree. I miss being able to mix and match my armor pieces
I agree. Even though halo 5 is amazing the fact that armor is limited in customization and only obtained through req packs was a questionable, rather foolish choice
The customization doesn’t bother me…its the fact that I have to ROLL FOR A CHANCE at getting the armor I want.
I also wish we didn’t have to use the req system and get armor when you rank up

I couldn’t agree more… Destiny does the same thing, I hate comparing these two games, but truth is truth… using RNG to prolong gameplay is BS… You can set goals, but achieving them is all luck

100% agree, maybe leave a few rare one in req packs but don’t make it exclusive :’(
So sad we have nothing to “work towards” armor wise. all we have are dice rolls

Agreed! I can’t stand destiny for these reason. Guns and armor random finds in the field? Sure. But not allowing me to buy the color shader I want? WTF? I want orange!!!
Anyway… The random unlocks do not make it more fun or provide a good drive. Halo 1 had 1 set of armor and people kept coming back. A good game will keep the masses playing. Granted I will get the armor I want in time. But not having a goal besides playing more is lame. I loved the system in Reach, and all the ad-ons. You had to work toward an expensive at times Spartan. But it provided a drive to keep playing. Just need more credits! 1 more game. Playing all night and opening crap REQ’s so going to tick me off quickly. I know the armor I want. I don’t want it next year.
I hope they implement something like an armor req pack you can buy.
I kind of like it, opening the pack and hoping for a new armor unlock. It’s the gambling nature that makes it exciting. And if you don’t get the armor you want, keep playing. It’s not like you weren’t going to anyways lol.
