Based upon that video on the Chest Piece Section, we see all the chest pieces and then variants that have the skins. I noticed CIO and then CIO WEB and then Venator Venator RPTR so does this sorta confirm that skins are armor specific and why didn’t we see the Hazop Forest Armor?
And also I’m confused on the Recruit too. Is the Recruit armor and Recruit Skin exclusive to the LE or is just the Recruit skin exclusive to the LE and everyone gets the Recruit armor?
I think Recruit is exclusive to LE. It may have been they just applied different skins to different pieces for the demo, so everyone could see all of them without have to see the same armor piece over and over.

Maybe but you would think if the Skins weren’t armor specific, there’d be a menu devoted to just to skins so you could pick and choose the skins of you liking but hey maybe that’s what’ll be in Halo 4 I just don’t like the idea of armor specific skins because I just pre-ordered from Gamestop not two days ago lol.

I went to Best Buy, I like their armor and skin more.
Hopefully it will be like you said with a menu devoted to skins, I’m excited about all the different visor colors though, wasn’t expecting so many.

A lot more Visors yeah. Way more than Reach’s. That Midnight Visor looks sweet. Also did you notice that it looks like with every chest piece in that video that when the guy switched between them the chest piece always looked bigger than the one above it so it looks like we get grdually bigger as we unlock armor lol.
I made this same thread a day ago or so. But yeah, it looks specific, so I assume you get only the skin version of the armor with preorders.

I had tried to compare the ALOY Skin and the Forest Skin Image in my link in the OP and I didn’t see any resemblance of the ALOY looking like Camo but I could be mistaken is there a link that proves that the Forest is now the ALOY but I sure am hoping Skins get there own menu selection and are not armor specific…

the Armor is exclusive to LE as the Fotus is to the LE console. Im pretty sure the skin should be to but i dont know we’ll see when the game comes out.

That’s cool too know about the Recruit now I just wish we had more news about Armor Specific skins hopefully we get some intel in today’s bulletin…

I looked closely on the ALOY helmet. It’s the same as the forest camo. It’s just the colors he picked were weird.
Ya the recruit, recruit forest and recruit prime legs from the last build of the game RG-63 Counter, RG-63 Counter forest, and RG-63 Prime legs. while there are a different set of legs for recruit, including default and tiger. personally I like the recruit default helmet skin better and I would like to know whether we get both or not.
As for deadeye default it’s default looks just like the pre-order skin from play.com and best buy, while the locus default has a different skin than the mighty ape exclusive bonus.
Perhaps if enough people message BS Angel with concern about the armor/skin bonuses she may elaborate on it in a future bulletin.
Why did anyone think the skins were not weapon/armour specific in the first place? Since they were revealed it has always been the ‘gungnir pulse skin’ or ‘venator raptor skin’. You can see the skins were designed for one set of armour, for example how would the pulse on the gungnir helmet work on a visor? it wouldn’t.
And the fotus/recruit armours and skins are both unique, not just the skin or just the armour (how could you have an armour skin without the base armour?)

that’s what I thought at first but then penguin reminded me about halo reach’s recon pre-order bonus, despite being a helmet variant you didn’t need to unlock the base variant or the other attachment to use it from the start of the game.

Dang it I just pre-ordered the LE from Gamestop two days and I find out these things are armor specific so I could have used the Amazon Bonus on every armor but One ALOY piece won’t look that good among all that because I don’t like the Hazop helmet.

Amazon bonus is also specific. Except it’s for the CIO armor.

I know but you can where the Skinned CIO Chest and then a different helmet and it would still fit because the WEB doesn’t look like it affects the CIO helmet that much but if I just wanted the to wear the HAZOP helmet, I’d be obligated to wear the rest of the ALOY armor because wearing a ALOY chest and a Prime Helmet wouldn’t fit but a WEB chest and a Prime Helmet would fit.
