I was just wondering with all these different skins you get from preordering at different places. will you be able to eventually unlock the skins you dont get from all the other places you didnt preorder the game from?
Unknown.
We don’t really know at this point. I would expect them to be exclusive, similar to the permutations given from Gamestop for Reach.
However, I suspect there will be a myriad of other armor skin options in the game. I don’t think I will be disappointed if I miss a couple skins if there are many others to choose from.
Hopefully not. The main reasons being:

Pre-ordering for “exclusive” skins is worthless if everyone will eventually be able to simply purchase or unlock the skins

These exclusive skins allow players to be a bit more unique than most of the game’s population, something that couldn’t be accomplished if everyone had access to everything.
However, I respect the desires of all the self-claimed completionists that want all in-game content. But it is important that 343i keeps these skins exclusive so consumers pre-order from their favorite stores.
