Armor Size Advantage?

Used the search and couldn’t find anything suprisingly, but is there any advantages to wearing larger armor and smaller armor? I know the reticle targets are the same size for both but I would think wearing smaller armor would be better because your less of a target and could potentially hide behind small objects a little easier when injured? What are your oppinions?

I’ve never noticed any difference in gameplay. Generally speaking, if an object is too small to hide bulky armor, it’s too small for any player with any armor to think to use it as cover.

The hitboxes are the same regardless of your gender or armour, same goes for Elite models, doesn’t matter what permutation you have on, you won’t have an advantage over someone with the default armour.

I find that smaller armor generally works well for trying to hide. It also makes you appear to be a smaller target, even though the hitboxes are the same regardless of your gender or armor permutation.

You could go either way really.

It is possible that a larger profile may give you an advantage because your hitbox would be smaller than that, meaning they may aim on your body, fire and miss because though you’re visually there your hitbox isn’t.

It is also possible that a smaller profile may conceal you in rare instances that a larger one wouldn’t allow you to be concealed.

So honestly I can really see either way having a small chance of helping, making it hard to honestly say which would be more useful.

I like trying to give myself every advantage I can, but on this issue I really think people should just go with what they like, as long as it isn’t one of those armor effects which makes you a target and much harder to hide.

Im not 100% sure

But I think
They all look different
But all the hitboxs are the same

It’s only an optical advantage, shoulders as security ones, can give your enemy an optical illusion, he may would shot at your shoulders thinking he’s hitting you.

The only advantage I have seen is for Active Camo. If you’re in big bulky armor, you armor will not hide as well as someone in smaller armor. For instance, Elite General vs Elite Spec Ops.
