I believe some people are getting a bit confused about the pre-order bonus armor skin thinking that they won’t be able to get the armor set they see as well.
I truly believe that EVERYONE, regardless if you pre-order or not will still be able to unlock the armor set in the game but not the exclusive skin that is only available for that particular armor set.
Example:
Oh cool I have unlocked the GUNGNIR Armor set but I won’t be able to put the PULSE skin on that armor because I didn’t pre-order the game from the Microsoft Store. You will still have other armor skins made for that armor set to choose from but not the PULSE skin.
I hope this kind of cleared things up regarding the Armor Skin which is the ONLY thing you will be receiving for that particular Armor Set from pre-ordering.
The thing I was freaking out about was that you supposedly couldn’t choose a different helmet and a different body armor. But, there was this one link that showed a preorderbonus with a separate helmet. So I’m thinking we can choose our:
Gender
Helmet
Body Armor
Armor Color
Skin Color
Right?
And, will the emblems show up on our armor or what?

Yeah I believe your emblem will also appear on your armor. But there is a chance that it won’t and will be just like how it was with Reach where you only see the emblem next to your gamertag or on your service record.
Yep it would be ideal if you choose your armor set, then choose your helmet separately. It would kind of suck if the helmet was also included with the armor set and you weren’t allowed to change the helmet.

Actually, the emblem is on the upper right part of your spartan’s chest…its just REALLLLLLLY small
