This is not a post about Spartan undersuits
Everyone knows that a majority of armors have their own skins, but some of them are kind of annoying since the secondary colors do not match the helmets of another armor or even the same skin of armor. For example, Mark VI Gen 1 has a darker secondary color than the primary color. Not everyone is a fan of the Gen 2 variant, since it is missing a cod piece. I feel like this is an intentional error to get other people to wear the skin versions of the armors. However, there are people that like the original armors and would want them to be one solid color, or a color with a matching secondary color to the helmet. Not everyone likes the white details on the armors.
Since the release of the classic helmets, this is a minor frustration for me, since I love the Mark V Delta helmet, and not many armors look nice with it. Armors with the white skins don’t make it any better either, such as most of the Noble Team armors, or the dark secondary color issue effecting them. I think it would be better for 343 to make the secondary colors on some of the armors match the primary. The Vigilant armor, Noble, Intruder, Wrath, Hunter, Mark VI Gen 1, and many more are given this darker pallet. I am not a fan of having a darker secondary with bright knuckles or details on the helmet.
I think making the color pallet for the armors larger for the darker tones wouldn’t be a bad decision, this would allow everyone to have the lighter secondary colors to match the primary, as well as the option to keep these darker tones that many of the armors have. The other alternative would be fixing the darker tones these armors have by default. I think when the initial release of additional colors was made back in past updates, that most of these armors would’ve had this fix by default.
