So when do you unlock Armor Perks? Am I supposed to just get it in a random req pack or will I get them in a random req pack upon hitting a certain level? Unsure how this works. I don’t seem to unlock any permanent weapons or anything like that as it is.
Yup, completely random in REQs. I’ve gotten most of mine from Bronze packs.

the very first one I got.
As an fyi there are 2 common armor abilities, 1 uncommon, 3 rare, 3 ultra rare and 1 legendary. Silver packs are you best bet at unlocking most of them. For gun loadouts as well for that matter. Although there are a lot of common ones, you’re still better off buying mostly silver or gold reqs. Reqs can be pretty random. I’ve got some rare or ultra rare weapons and armor, but I haven’t unlocked a single version of the scout warthog which are all common reqs. You’ll get them eventually so just keep at it.
I want Plasma Grenade expert so I can finally have all the grenades mastered.
I wish they’d let you set up loadouts and then you could set one you want in game. I always forget to equip them once I hit the tier.
