Well, I was playing around in Warzone, and I figured what if we had a Cyber-Link Armor Mod? One that prevents descope, and maybe enhances hovering time for Smart-Link when you jump? I figured it’d be a cool idea, thought I’d throw it up on the forums. What do you guys think?
I also think that the White Scar tier of the Plasma Caster should allow indefinite charging of the Caster. I think it’d make it a much more competitive weapon. I also believe the Scattershot/Didact’s Signet (maybe not?) could use a tiny boost just to make it more playable, but I’m not sure what. I find myself choosing the Blaze of Glory way before I choose any Scattershots at all times.
I guess I’ll end this with one more question, I really like the Echidna, but I’m at a loss on using it. I mean, it makes perfect sense how to, but I guess my problem is people hiding behind cover when I’m trying to push warheads at long range. Any small tips?

For the Echidna you should lock on to someone and aim up with the hydra and fire 2 shots it should get them behind cover! Also Echinda is probably best against destroying or Em-ping enemy vehicles!

I’ve never thought about this before, it doesn’t unlock if you aim up? Thanks for the tip!!

no it doesent all hydra variants can do this they will stay locked on unless the player moves out of your view
The smart-link mod idea sounds quite cool, might already be a perk of another mod but since you’re posting you might have already researched this, I imagine a lot of players would appreciate this that like to shoot long distances.
The White-Scar charging idea is good, it sucks having to charge and YY weapons because there isn’t someone to shoot at, this is always a good perk of the Arclight variant of the Railgun since you can charge it forever.
Like someone else said about the Echidna, just lock on and shoot it in a different direction to allow the shots to move round cover to hit enemies, remember you can also lock onto multiple enemies and vehicles.

I’m glad at least someone agrees and replies with/to me on here. Thought this would be an idea people hopped all over, oops on my part, I guess.
Armor Mod idea: Space Jump Boots
Taken from Samus Aran’s Varia Suit from the METROID PRIME saga, this armor mod it will allow double jump and decrease jump gravity. Press A once to jump and then A again to jump higher!
To prevent players from exploiting areas in Warzone more timed kill barriers should be added!
I would use that armour mod, personally think didacts signet is useless without camo, and i’d still much rather use blaze with camo.
I like the white scar but it would be more usable with that buff so I agree with that also. And yeah I don’t really see the use of echidna? The Typhon has been buffed to be much more effective against infantry, the echidna doesn’t deal enough damage to vehicles to make it that viable does it?

It EMP’s them on impact, so it’s a danged good anti-armor weapon.

Can’t tell if you’re taking a stab at the hover time increase I suggested or if you’re just trolling, but to clarify, I don’t mean the hovering should be permanent while in Smart-Link. Just extended.

You can do this for the regular hydra too and the typhon. I do this trick all the time.

I think NOTWMjolnir was just making a non-serious armor mod idea. By the way, the Cyber-Link mod would be fantastic.
I found the Echidna useful against far targets since you can double zoom with it.

Yeah, since I made the post I played a few Warzone games and tried it, great stuff! Never thought about it, never had seen it done. Glad I came to the forums, I think I learned to use a Hydra better than I normally have been.

Why not just spawn a plasma pistol and spartan laser?

Its good to aim upwards when you are in a high area as it can reach them behind cover unless they are smart and now how to dodge it because of poor turning radius (which is a good thing lol otherwise it would be super op if it did a complete 90)
