Armor Lock EMP after TU?

This isn’t about whether you like AL’s EMP or effect or not, just how will it work after the TU takes effect?
I haven’t seen anything on it I don’t think.
Basically, how will the new damage mechanics with AL affect the whole EMP blast attack that it has, where right now staying in it for a longer period of time will cause it to have a larger AOE.

So when you damage the person in AL, draining the energy and making them come out early, will it cause the same EMP blast as waiting the full length of time to make up for the decreased wait time? Or it will just be the tiny blasts, basically as if the person just exited armor lock on their own?

If the EMP stays small when the shield is broken early, I don’t think we’ll be seeing people use the larger EMP blast anymore even more than it is now, since you’d have to just sit there a long 4-5 seconds beforehand hoping someone decides to sit within range staring and not shooting.
I think this would pretty much limit the main use mostly to the whole entering and exiting armor lock tactic that some players try to do now, which of course is fairly annoying to see.
But on the otherhand I could see how a large blast could be exploited by some, hoping that the other person breaks the shield quickly with say the sword or hammer when a player lunges, catching them in a large EMP easily.

So any info on how the TU will deal with this? Just curious.

Who knows…
I do think the EMP would still be in effect.
I mean there should still be some advantages for using AL, especially in CQC.

For example: Your opponent has the shotgun, you have AL. If the opponent shoots near you and drains the AA’s gauge, you automatically go out of AL but disperses the EMP. Leaving the shotgun user without shield.
This is just speculation, but something tells me its gonna be like that.

Taking damage only reduces the AA energy you have. I’d imagine losing all of the energy will do the same as it always have and produce an EMP relative to how long you were in AL.
