Armor loadouts for halo 6

No these aren’t halo 4 weapon loadouts. These are armor loadouts. So basically it’s different slots for different characters you have. Instead of having to change each individual armor piece just to get the set you want, you would just choose the loadout and have your full set equipped. If people like multiple armors and swap them from time to time, they could just select a loadout. Is this a good idea for halo 6?

I don’t think saving sets of cosmetic armor is really an efficient use of their production time.

Would be cool but I doubt it would be of much use.

The function of this being? I’m confused, would people be switching between different armor sets during multiplayer matches? And in that case, is it all purely cosmetic?

Sorry for the confusion. In the customize menu, there would be loadouts of different Spartans with just different armors so you wouldn’t have to change everything if you wanted a different guy. No you wouldn’t switch during matches and yes it’s only cosmetic.

So you could premake different sets of armors? Or does this replace current customization?

Think of it like destiny. Before you start to play, you choose one of your guardians to play as. You would pre make different sets, but it wouldn’t replace the current customization.

Sounds interesting but it seems like there are much more important things to fix and have ready for Halo 6. I’m still not 100% how this would work. In Destiny, customization and character selection both affect gameplay. Either by armour or by abilities. You seem to be saying “Either we pick between playing has Mark VI Gen I or Scout armour, or maybe EOD”. Doesn’t the current customization system allow that?

I’d like loadouts for custom games and non-competitive/unranked playlists

It’s either you pick a male, scout helmet, recon armor, and gold visor, or a male, fotus helmet, centurion armor, green visor, or female, recruit helmet, warrior armor, purple visor, etc. You won’t have to constantly change every piece of armor to get the set you want, you could just press a button and automatically equip that preset armor combination. It has nothing to do with gameplay. Just cosmetics.

Here’s what the OP suggests:

Choose helmet
Choose armor
Choose visor
Choose colors

Save armor configuration into Armor Save Slot

Choose another helmet
Choose another armor
Choose another visor
Choose other colors

Save armor Configuration into another Armor Save slot
Be displeased with new armor configuration
Choose Load Saved Armor configuration and load previous armor configuration
Save time

The few times this idea has been suggested, I’ve said it’s a brilliant idea.
Are there other things to fix more important than adding this feature? Yeah well sure there most likely are, doesn’t however decrease the value of this one or mean it shouldn’t be implemented.

You explained that a lot better than I did.

Its a fine idea, but I don’t care about it enough, I usually only change one piece at a time, but your point saying that this shouldn’t be implemented even if there are more important things is wrong. They have a finite amount of resources to put into a game. This would be one of the very last things put in, probably in an update if at all. It’s unnecessary, we should encourage them to focus on more important things.

This is a great idea, I would add on it by having a few more toggle-able armor sorting techniques: alphabetical, order unlocked, reverse order unlocked, rarity and only show certain rarities (That’s all i can think of). Also maybe have it so you click on a set [head/armor](head displayed above armor(tinted gray if you don’t have any of the versions unlocked)) and it expands so that you can select a different skinned version. These ideas combined with your would make a near perfect halo 5 armor Ui.

Yes we really need a way to sort armor.

I use the changing of armor to fill the time between games
