Armor kits completely invalidate the battle pass

I bought the cloud 9 kit (because it’s AWESOME!!!), but I didn’t know it would be completely locked. I can’t change a single thing on the armor.

Having the kit makes the battle pass pointless. I’d love to be able to swap emblems visors, add on armor accessories, etc, but you’d can’t change ANYTHING!!!

So, with all my time playing, I can’t use anything I’ve earned in the battle pass unless I take off the entire kit.

This is ridiculous. The kits need to be able to be broken down. MINIMUM the shader needs to be unlocked for use in any armor.

Agreed.

I personally think that kits should make all purchased parts available for use, while still being able to be selected as a whole “Kit.”

I mean, since the very start they said that kits were a single piece. Idk how you thought they weren’t locked

Yeah, they did, but I can see the want for customizability once you have the kit. I can see the OP’s point, but yeah, they did make that pretty clear early on.

I never read that and it’s certainly not described that way when you’re making the purchase.

That wouldn’t say me anyways. My statement is still true, if you buy any kit and intend to equip it, it renders the battlepass pointless. It’s either have a battle pass which gives credit to time spent OR buy a kit and you’re done.

The kits need to be available to this who buy them in their full utility. We should be able to take what pieces we like and leave what pieces we don’t.

This isn’t exactly clear when you purchase the kit. Kit implies a series of items I can use freely. Kind of unfair to expect people to understand this if they didn’t read some tweet 8 months ago.
