To unlock armor you need Career Milestone which means you need to get achievements in any 360 Halo games. You will also need certain achievements from Halo 3, ODST, and Reach.
Here is a detailed list of requirements or each armor piece. The number at the start of each is the amount of Gamerscore you need across the following games: Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo Wars, Halo Reach, and the 360 version of Halo: Spartan Assault. The requirements afterwards are the achievements you need for them and a short description of each. Once you have fulfilled the requirements for any of these, you can then unlock them in the 360 Halo Waypoint app, which lets you purchase them in Reach for 0cr each.
CQB Helmet Base: 900g + “Folks Need Heroes…”: Beat Reach on Heroic or above
CQB Helmet HU/RS/CNM: 1400g + “Campaign Complete: Heroic”: Beat ODST on Heroic or above (and previous helmet)
CQB Helmet UA/HUL: 1900g + “Campaign Complete: Legendary”: Beat both Halo 3 on Legendary + “Gods Must Be Strong”: Beat Reach on Legendary (and previous helmets)

no it is still possible I did my waypoint armor in june of last year and they have not touched the waypoint app on the 360 since, so I almost sure that it would still be possible.
my waypoint keeps saying error loading article on anything i touch besides compare, does anyone know whats wrong bc it started right after i finished reach on heroic
