I feel like there should be armor sets that appeal to a certain gender, y’know? Like a body set with a bulky chest piece, arm bracers (Is that right? Bracers?) and shin guards for male Spartans. And for females. like a sleek armor set that makes a female Spartan look really fast.
I dunno… I don’t think people would like it if you could only obtain one armor that can only be applied to a specific gender option. Might make players switch between them just to have the better pick. IMO, one of the appealing aspects of the original armor sets was that it made your character look strong regardless of gender. Your Spartan could be a female and wear armor that looks just like a male. Plus, you could make your Spartan sleeker by just choosing less bulky armor sets.
Why.
It would be dissatisfying though if one really preferred an armor type and a Spartan gender that didn’t match. For example, I always play as a male Spartan so it would be quite a bummer if there was a female exclusive armor.
Okay, not gender exclusive. Just looks better on one gender, but not bad on the other. Better?

Still seems kind of unnecessary to me, particularly since aesthetics are pretty subjective. There was a point canonically when you weren’t supposed to be able to tell the difference between a male/female Spartan without knowing or helmet removal.
Well saying that women and men need different armor is totally sexist man. But look, there are soooo many options of armor some are bulky and some are sleeker. I feel both women and men generally have no problem finding an armor set that suits their Spartans body type. I also have a feeling most Spartans aren’t too worried about it since who needs to look good to get shot in the head 17 times?
But why though?
Such a thing would be entirely unnecessary. After all, it would be subjective based on who designed the armor; maybe what the designer thinks as “feminine” isn’t as feminine as what you’d like.
Armor should not be designed based on how well it suits one gender versus another. There are already bulky armors and sleek armors in the pool.
I don’t think it would work out well
I feel this would just cause problems so it would be best not to try adding this.
Okay. I’m sorry. Just my opinion. No one has to like it
Nah. Most if not all armors are modified slightly to accommodate one gender or the other.
