what do you think of the idea to add armor effects like halo reach? And maybe make them availabe in a shop so you can save reqs for an effect.

Not for me either!
I was never a big fan of them to begin with. If they are there, fine. If we have a random unlock system like we do now then no, I don’t want them.

Some of the sound effects would reveal your position if you kill someone close by and they would make you more visible. I don’t think they should return.
I liked them, I honestly thought they was going to me added in the Memories of Reach update.
It would take away from the competitive focus I guess, I mean every two seconds you’d hear “yayyy” but I wouldnt care. I thought they was cool
I would like to see the return of Armour effects. Maybe not like they were in reach and 3, maybe we can have effects for changing the colour of your shield when being shot. Maybe you could have an effect where when you die you release a visual pop of electricity for half a second or something. I dont like the old school flaming helmets and stuff but effects on death or effects on your shield would be cool.

I’d prefer to have reverse armor effects. I.E. I put on the Grunt birthday one and everytime I get a headshot i get a reward. Someone else puts on flower power and his/her kill explode in a petal storm. I don’t think it’s feasible, but it would be nice.
I wasn’t a huge fan of them in reach and 4, and I think armor mods work just as fine.
Armor effects can stay dead please. It was ridiculous seeing people with floating hearts and stormy clouds on their shoulders. Why in the hell would a Spartan have clouds on their shoulders?
I think armour effects would be pretty cool in Halo 5. Some people are saying it would give away your position if you have a flaming head, but if you’re just playing for fun, it wouldn’t be that bad. Then when you’re ready to go competitive, just unequip it. It should be a reward though, like part of the level 150 commendation pack or something.

I think if there was to be an armor effect, its will be the head on fire because its has been a tradition in halo. There is the helmet on fire in halo 3 and halo reach, an emblem with a burning skull in halo 3 odst and a level 50 on fire in halo 4 xbox 360. Sorry for my English i use translate
Please don’t, the Grunt bday effect was funny for a few weeks but that sound everytime you killed someone with the effect got annoying real fast.
The only Armour effect I loved and wore all the time since I got the game was my Red flaming helmet. It was a shame that I never got the blue one, but for Halo 5 or 6, I would think it could be good and may also be a bad idea as well.
