Bring back the armor abilities and nerf the precision weapons. I miss reach and think some aspects of this game are broken because of the battle rifle being op once you get good with it.
I don’t think armor effects are needed, I think it’s just a gimmick.
I do think armor abilities will be cool to bring like the jetpack from Halo reach and halo 4.
Halo reach was my favorite game and I wish more armor to halo 5

If they were gonna be in there, I want to earn them, not grind for REQ points or Credits or whatever, and even then I wouldn’t use them cause a lot of them looked stupid (yes, even the flaming helmets). Just concentrate on having additional wear and tear on our armors and that would be perfect.

I don’t see how it would fit into 343s ‘canon’ multiplayer, but I would love to see them return I just hope there is an easy-ish way to get them. A way that doesn’t require saving up credits for 42 years.

They could be arena/warzone simulation malfunctions like the timmy helmet or could just outfit the spartan with more cosmetics so simulation staff (if that is a thing) can more distinctively identify the spartans for research porpoises.
Would be cool to see them make a return but seeing them in Halo 5 would be weird. Maybe it’s just me but they way the Halo 5 armor looks now would make the helmet effects look weird and unrealistic.

I am a little late to this discussion, but I would love if they returned. It was kind of another way to set yourself apart even if it wasn’t practical. I pre-ordered the legendary edition and rocked my flaming helmet the whole time. This is until I earned Inclement Weather.
I only read the first page and I was surprised at how many people are against this. I remember when everyone was clambering and jealous of the blue flame helmet, but I guess that was because it signified you were there for the last official Bungie Day. It is always interesting how things change.
I would much rather these return than pizza and fries skins.
Your right! why would they do that? Halo: Reach was the best Halo yet! and they messed up Halo 5!
