I think they’re unnecessary, but it would be nice to have.
I would love to see more customizable options in Halo 6. Like expanding on what Halo Reach did, but please don’t make these options only obtainable via Req Pack A.K.A RNG.

It’s just for fun, but then of the AI could recognise and spot you during gameplay easier, that would be cool.
I don’t understand how people are disliking the idea of armor effects. First of all, It’s one way people can stand out and express themselves in-game unlike in Halo 5 where most armor and helmets look the same. Second, if someone is using armor effects, shouldn’t that be more of an of advantage towards you since they stand out more? And lastly, if people seriously don’t like armor effects then 343 should implement an option that allows people to enable or disable the possibility to see armor effects while in-game.
I didn’t like the armor attachments because you needed them to do menial things, like sprinting. And there were never the ones you really needed. I don’t want to see them return.

Armour effects were canon… They were in the campaign…
Know multiplayer is supposed to be canon… but i don’t see why armor effects wouldn’t be something in the war games would have or some enterprising spartan managed to hack and put into it. I would love to see them return as well as armor customization. Each spartan is supposed to be unique and armor customization would allow for that.
They should bring it back, but also that is Bungie’s thing so maybe it was copyrighted by them. I think it would be awesome to bring back just like different variations of helmets and such

Actual fix needed: A Storage Solution achievement. Only thing standing between me and 1000 Gamerscoring Reach pre-DLC.
It’d be cool to see but 343 has a particular taste when it comes to Halo.
