Reach was the first Halo I played and I loved it, so I’ve gone on and played all of them, even read some books. I think being able to choose which shoulder you want and what torso you want was always great. It let people get really into their armor and love every piece of it. But with Halo 5 you don’t get that option. You have to like every bit of the armor as it comes or settle with the shoulders if you only liked the torso. I also though a neat little part about the helmets was they could have attachments on them, and after playing Reach, I thought they should add attachments to each helmet based on the environment they would be used in. Some helmets would have more than two different attachments, some would only have one maybe, but I thought that was always cool. As for armor effects like inclement weather, they were cool. But I’d be fine without them, they were a little flashy anyways. Those are my thoughts at least
I loved armor effects. Pls add them!!! I had so much fun with them
I think armor affects are awesome and should be brought back into halo
i personally never farmed enough just for the armor effects but i did eventually farm enough to get the master chief voice and all the armors
I liked the Armor effects in Halo Reach. If they did bring them back it would be nice. But you would have to get them through Reqs. That seems to be how Halo 5 works. The Reqs are ok. You complete a game, you get Reqs. Yeah right. Some times when I complete a game of Warzone, Social Or Arena I don’t get any packs at all. It seems like you have to be one of the top players in each game just to get Req packs from each game you are in. Sorry about that. Forgot this page was about The Halo Reach Armor Effects.
i really liked the armor lock

I liked the armor lock too. Though if you boosted into someone when they were using it your Ghost, Banshee or Revenant would explode.
It was still fun though. I think Halo Reach was one of the best Halo games.

yess the domination of those vehicles felt so good and reach stays the best ofcourse
I like it. Just another layer of customization you can do. Halo Reach is probs the best armor customizing in halo.
I kinda miss inclement weather.

yea bro that -Yoink- was THE best. i loved the grind of tryin to get that lightning effect!
the effects were the best part of reach but seeing the way halo 5 has been created i don’t think it would be that much fun with the effects in H5.

this is by far the best and the most true comment i have seen. Totally agree
Sure it’d be cool, but personally i don’t like nor dislike the armour effects. If halo 5 or any future halo had them I wouldn’t mind it. The only thing I’m hoping for is for the armour system to be like reach’s. The satisfaction of saving up all of your cr just to get that one helmet, visor or whatever else you wanted was awesome.
Armor effects would give away your position to several other players on the enemy team. Unlike Reach, Spartans have gotten way easier to kill. Nice idea though.
