Just curious to see what you all think. Personally I’d love to see the return of the flaming helmets!
I always thought armor effects were a absurd. I hope they don’t return. With 343 trying to make mp canon, I doubt we’ll see them in H5.

That’s a actually a good point. I didn’t know they were trying to make it canon.
Please don’t bring back armor effects. They were so silly, they really just pulled me out of the game. People with hearts floating around and lightning shooting off of their shoulder… it looked rediculous. Flaming heads, stinky flies, there is a reason these effects weren’t shown in the campaign cutscenes: because they don’t match the tone of Halo.
Ugh. Yeah. They’re silly, and I could live without them.
Why not if someone gets enjoymet out of them let them have it. Feels like it makes them easier to spot across the map to me
Armor effects brought a childish quality to the game which I was not a fan of. Its like wanting more of Jar Jar Binks in Star Wars. No thanks.
Perhaps in custom games, there can be more room for such things, but not in PvP multiplayer.

since H4 yea. I really like the flaming helmet… but i doubt anything like that will come back.
