So Eaglestrike… another hideous armor I dont want that looks like somthing out of the wolfenstein reboot. Or the worst power armor you can get in a fallout game… Ugly and not at all something recognizably halo. Iet me trade stuff or break it down for anything … I’ll take weapon swaps for it …
No like, no use, ez pz.
I quite like some of the goofier helmets but I’m not spending money to get them. Instead I will gleefully inflict my nightmare fuel on others.

I didn’t like Yoroi personally, so I just ignored it and didn’t grind the Tenrai weeks
I think I accidentally unlocked a nameplate or background or something by playing while the event was active, but I never unlocked the core.
Ultimately, I can see a bit of a complaint about having to navigate around a core in the Armor Hall that you just have no interest in using-that thought did occur to me when the Yoroi core disappeared from my Armor Hall when S2 launched and I never unlocked it (I was a bit grateful not to have a core I wasn’t ever going to use and didn’t have anything unlocked for littering up the UX). So, I would say 343 should give players the option to show/hide or at least organize their cores in the Armor Hall.
But as far as liking/disliking Fractures cores goes, I suspect many of these cores will be polarizing and the truth is that they’re not really intended to be “recognizably Halo” as far as I can tell. They’re gimmicks meant to drive player engagement. I like Eaglestrike, I didn’t like Yoroi, I don’t necessarily expect to like whatever they do next. But I have the option of just not grinding for any event pass cosmetics I don’t like, so I don’t have a problem with that.
I would prefer in a perfect world for 343i to divert some of their artistic and dev resources away from Fractures and towards actual canon cores and cosmetics, sure (especially working to make Cross-Core a reality…) But on the other hand, many players seem to adore them, and I’m happy for that group.
