I really don’t think it is that hard to wether decide to have an armor dlc for preorder armor just say yes or no, tell me what you guys think.
Well. I think, pre-order bonuses should belong to pre-orders. But since we got 7 different, it’s a bit impossible to “Catch 'em all!”, so yes. I agree. They should release it. However, I personally don’t really care, since you cannot equip all of them. They should release the weapon skins and emblems too, because it’s a different story.

Also, I’m still waiting for a Storm Rifle skin, which will probably never come.

i think that would be a great idea actually! they should have a little poll and see if they should have a dlc of armor to come out!!

He meant that you can start your own poll here on the forums. When you make a new thread you have an option to create a poll to have people vote for stuff they would like to see or stuff they agree, or disagree, with.

They should probably release a version of Dead Eye and Locus to everyone, because they didn’t advertise those properly. Every other preorder bonus is a special version of an otherwise obtainable armor set. But then they didn’t actually say that Dead Eye or Locus would not be obtainable any other way.

Deadeye and Locus are not the only non obtainable pre order armors, the Fotus is also not obtainable.

I’ve been waiting for the Locust helmet since before Halo 4 even came out.
So yes, sell the Retailer Armor.

Well there was that lame 7-11 KOTH app/game that required a pic of mountain dew and doritos’ logos for smart phones that one could earn stuff like emblems and the Locus helm.
Also, the Fotus armor is not so much a pre-order item, but rather an extra bonus that one gets for getting the Halo 4-edition XBOX 360 console, as with the Recruit Prime skin being the limited edition bonus.
As far as making the armors available, they could just hold contests or events for people to acquire the pre-order skins (armor and weapon). This would possibly add some incentive for players to play more Halo 4, and if they wanted to (343) they could make it so the events/contests are DLC related, thus giving players who have not gotten the DLC an incentive to buy the map pack(s) and rewarding those who have already bought them. I would prefer this over just making the skins additional DLC purchases.
I’d like some Halo 3 ones back, and some Reach chestplates, but I don’t think it’s possible.

You can hardly see other people’s armour anyway. At least on splitscreen.
Versions of armor that are originally exclusive wouldn’t be so bad.
Gears of War 3 did something similar, instead of releasing pre-order bonuses for eveyrone, they released a version of them, that way people who have the original still have the original and people who want the bonuses but couldn’t get them got something kind of like them.
A similar tactic would work for Halo 4. Though new armor dlc wouldn’t be bad either.
It would help me with my screenshots because some of the armors in halo 4 are not that great and I would love to see some of the classics return.

Right, I dont even use my pre-order armor…
besides, I’m sure they are focused heavy on H5 right now.
