Now I know a lot of you wont care much for a thread like this but for me it was kinda of an issue and a serious one. Now for any fact, Im not sure who did the armor design in Halo Reach as far as which Bungie Employee or if it was a set of people but to me the armor in Halo Reach seemed very nicely done, sleek, sharp and right on point to as what the armor should have looked like along with the variation of different armor pieces you could put together. For me the ODST was/is my favorite armor overall and whenever I played in Halo Reach, I felt it was amazingly done. Here is a picture https://i.imgur.com/Z7Vza.jpg - sorry cant post links yet
Compared to Halo 5 and Halo 4’s version of the ODST armor variant, I felt they were poorly done and just ugh, disgusting and for whoever made the armor design for Halo 5 did a terrible job. Here is a picture on that http://www.halopedia.org/images/e/e1/NightfallArmour.png - again sorry that I cant post links yet.
I just felt that Bungie did a better job at getting the armor to look like it should rather than a cartoony, clay/power ranger form of the armor variant. Hell, the armor in Halo Reach actually looked battle worn because the paint job was distressed and had marks of damage done to them versus the Halo 5 version of armor which seems like they have never seen the light of battle. Too plastic and shiny, I enjoyed the Halo Reach feel and look. There is just too much missing from the game.
What do you guys think?
Who did the armor designs for both games? If you can please give the names.
