Before a Firefight Match.
After a Firefight Match.
No, I did not select a new armor color.
Anyone else experience this discoloration? Is it designed to happen? Anything I can do to fix it rather than restarting?
That’s because when you finish a match, I heard that the map data is still loaded in the background. 343’s strange, instagram lighting filter system from the map affects your armor on the screen after a match because the light filter from the map is still being loaded on 3D geometry (such as the Spartan preview.) That’s at least what I’ve heard.

Yep, this is spot on.

Oh, interesting. It’s quite annoying. Thanks for the explanation!
Your spartan armor takes on the ambient lighting of the last map you were playing on.
And here I thought it was only me.
