Armor Customization

In my old days and even today, I still think reach’s armors were the best, a thing that is said nonstop, but why is it better than most other Halo’s is it just because of the amount of armor or the amount of freedom you have. What do yall think?

The other armor in other Halo games looks very plastic-like and some of the armor designs like the helmets and their visors are ludicrous looking. Take for example the “Unicorn” helmet in Halo 4 or the helmet in Halo: Online that looks like three low-florescent lights strung across the front of the face. The Halo Reach armors look metallic and somewhat realistic, I don’t know if it was designed that way or because of the limitations of 720p during the 360 days. Whatever the reason I agree that Halo Reach armors look the best on the whole “Sci-Fy” contest

I also enjoyed the more customization aspect you had in Reach. You could have opposite shoulders, change your knees, visor color, had helmet attachments, wrist and leg attachments and what have you. Halo 5 has a vast amount of armor variants but not much for actual customization. You can change your helmet, body and visor…that’s it.

I agree. I feel like the customization level that Halo Reach had should have been something that new Halo games should have kept. I loved being able to customize the finer details of my Spartan

I mean, YEAH. Reach had everything down from the dinos you could pick to what announcer/voice to have in firefight. I mean Sgt. Johnson need I?

A little late, but, there’s also the fact that REACH didn’t treat paint jobs as separate armors…

What makes the armor customization in reach one of the best is the diversity of armor and the ability change more individual pieces of armor compared to the other halo games. Also unlike halo 4 the armor doesn’t look like plastic.
