to be honest, i love the game; it’s just that i was a bit disappointed that armor customization isn’t in this. so i was wondering, will customization be added in later?
It isn’t just armor, emblems are fubar too. Hell you can only have a three letter call tag now.
hm…i assume they’ll fix it, right?
The way things are looking, I don’t think so.
Yeah the Halo 2 Classic has everyone running around with the bullseye logo…
I just wish it would show how colors look on your armor.
Personally, I hope complete armor customization and Halo 4’s dlc armor are added in. Until then I feel as though the
“collection” is incomplete.
I was also slightly disappointed hearing about armour customization being just set armours especially with the wide range of armour there is with Halo 3 & 4 but we’ll soo find out what 343 will do as I have been seeing a lot of hate and complaints about the Master Chief Collection either it be just general whining or actual issues which need to be sorted
I hope they give us our Armor Customizations back… I hate this Armor set idea…
I also wish i could actually play the game… But… Servers…
Slightly disappointed at the armour set thing… never used an entire armour set, I like mixing and matching :S
I’m actually really upset 343i took out armor customization… I feel like Halo isn’t Halo without it now that we’ve had it for 3 (Halo 3, Halo: Reach, Halo 4) or 4 (ODST if you count that) games.
I’m also peeved at this. I love my Halo 3 spartan, same with my Halo 4 one. And to replace a very good feature, and a main one at that, with “armor sets” is just a poor decision. I really hope a patch fixes this, because frankly Halo just isn’t Halo without it.
343, once again proving that they can’t do anything right.
Someone take Halo away from them already.

At least we get to choose our helmet and body in Halo 5. But even that is a step behind Halo 3, where you could customize both shoulders, head, and torso. And Halo 4 had the most, Head, Visor, Arms, Legs, Torso.
Seems like we’re just going backwards.
is it that bad? I haven’t played it yet but will soon, don’t bring my mood down!

Depending on how big customization is for you. For a lot of us, yes. That is bad. Especially when that’s how they were on their home console, only to be changed to a terrible new way.
I mean it’s a decent idea for halo 3 cos all armor is relatively good but not halo 4

How would gutting out customization be a decent idea, period? You’re removing freedom that once was there, for no reason at all.

No, it’s a bad idea in every way.
343 has no excuse for it. I can’t wait to see their damage control for it.

Calling “technical limitations” or some other excuse. Then explain how the 360 was able to do it perfectly? It wouldn’t even increase the size at all. Most likely it’s all there anyway, just locked behind “sets”
