Would anyone else like to see more of the customization?
I mean they could at least clear things up.
At the time of the beta they said on twitter that the armor would be full suits, helmets and visor.
Sometime later they also said on twitter that there would be more.
Then they hinted at black undersuits returning.
Now they say that will be dark gray with some color, a good indicator would be the Beta.
I just don’t know why they would cut out the customization, and I don’t understand why all their statements are so contradictory.
Don’t you think they should not hint at things that could maybe complicate that whole situation?

I think they meant that the customization in the beta would be full suits, and that by full release they would have more customization available.

Actually I was/am thinking the same, but everytime something is said the mention “X” armor & helmet or “Y” armor and helmet.
Holmes posted about 2 or 3 weeks ago that the armor system will be more in depth than the beta but it seems he was pulling our leg as his most recent tweets and the Gamestop pre order bonus indicate we are still getting the suit/helmet only crap.
Halo Reach’s armor system should be the benchmark for any future customization in future games. Anything less than that is lazy and unacceptable.

That is exactly what I am talking about!
They say one thing only to later say something else.
I really like 343i and I am pumped for Halo 5 but they should finally clear things up on regards to armor customization.

When they said “Agent Locke Helmet & Armor” I think that they were just…summing it up. I highly doubt that they would downsize armor customization by 65% (or more), especially not when they said that Halo 5 will deliver “scope and scale and drama”. Wouldn’t you say (if you were 343) that players could get “Agent Locke’s Helmet and Armor” instead of saying every piece individually like “players will be able to get the Agent Locke Helmet, Torso, Visor, Legs, Forearms, Left Shoulder, and Right Shoulder”? To me, it makes sense that they would say that…

I am sure they will before the game comes out six months from now.

Completely agree. Armor customization peaked in Reach.

I see where you are cominf from, but the wording still seems odd, why not just say the complete armor set or something similar?
The thing I miss more than anything about halo reach is the customisation

No, I’d say “players will be able to unlock Agent Locke’s armour.” If what you’re saying is true, why would they need to say helmet and armour?

It may be because there is a normal hunter armour helmet and then there is also the agent Locke skin hunter helmet. It might be like the deadeye helmet that had no body. Then maybe there is just one Hunter armour set, not two.
