In Reach, armor was immensely more customizable compared to Halo 3, but as we move forward to halo 4, we can expect much from 343. Many of us have seen the pre-order bonus skins, which include images of the armor and helmets in the previews. Let me tell you, some of that armor looks crazy awesome! The “venator” armor looks sort of like a forerunner suit (awesome!!!) The “oceanic” armor looks sort of like bioshock (way cool) the “deadeye” helmet kind of looks like an updated and upgraded version of the “rogue” from Halo 3, and the “locus” helmet is nothing like (I think) we’ve ever seen before, although it shows some resemblance to Reach’s EVA. Totally, I love individuality in spartan armor, I can’t wait!!!
Plus, those previews were FULL sets of the same armor type. Imagine…Venator torso, oceanic arms, venator wrists, Gungnir legs! And locus helmet.
I think my brain just overloaded with excitement.

This is kind of a problem for me, As much as I’m excited for all the new customization options and even just the new armor we’ll get, I find myself LOVING the new default (Warrior) armor.
I’m hoping I can get someone who is good with photo-shop to make me a picture of what I’m gonna do on opening day with my armor…

However, for some reason (I’d say it probably has to do with the bulkiness of it, seeing as how it’s not similar in any other way) when I look at the new GUNGNIR, I see this…

I have to agree, even though it’s default, it’s totally cool.
If cool armor like that is unlocked by default, I can’t wait to see what the other ranks unlock!
It’s only available for pre-order at mighty-ape, so I hope he will came out as a DLC in the future :#
