Armor color - y no black?

Why no black in armor colors? I want black. Black on black. Black in action.

I remember Halo 2 also having steel not black? The last game I remember with black was Halo: CE.

I remember in Reaches beta there “was” black then they released the game and it was steel. But it makes absolutely NO sense in H4 since we have camo and in some of the teaser trailers you couldn’t see the guy in the rock unless you re-watched it over and over. And the whole big excuse was, “It’s harder to see ppl when they’re in the shadows!! :!-( crying face”. Man up this is Halo not polly pocket.

Another argument here is there’s only…1 playlist where you actually get to be in your own custom color aside from Spartan Ops…Rumble Pit. That fact also irritates me since in Reach you could have your custom color in Infection as well, not that ugly lime green.

That would be really awesome. Besides, anyone who has played for a while can perfectly differentiate a hostile or friendly without even having to know armor color.
