Armor Coatings and Armor Cores would make so much more $$$

If the armor core system was axed, and for a fee, even a premium fee we could create our own armor Coatings, select colors and put any armor and color in any armor combination we want. Come on 343! You know this current system is ultra restrictive to the point that bots have more options then we do!

I know a few people on here would likely purchase such an option.

I think part of the reasoning behind the coatings is that it gives them literally hundreds of rewards to dish out over the lifetime of the game - much quicker and easier than creating actual armor pieces.

Even if they created no new armor, but for a fee removed the stupid restrictions they would make FAR more profits. 343i is shooting themselves in the feet with this store in every way. The core gameplay is the best Halo has been since Halo 3 by a huge margin, but this shady system is cutting its potential far down for NO GOOD REASON!

Been saying this for months. MS/343 needs to sell, PATTERNS and designated the 2 most prominent colors of that pattern as the primary and secondary. Then they sell TEXTURES as an extra layer to go over those patterns (dirt, mud, shine, scratches, plasma burn, etc). Doing this they could make TWICE THE MONEY (patterns, and textures), but still offer players the customization they always had in earlier games (colors). Imagine scorpion punch, but the body is yellow and the arm is purple (or whatever you like)

A comment I made in another thread awhile back. Trust me, Halo fans WANT to buy things from the store, but everything has such little value while being overvalued in the store, players can’t get past it (and I don’t blame them).
