Getting to the point. I’d like to put some digital camo on my Spartan (or hopefully Elite). Make my emblem however big or small I want on my Spartan, and to place it where I feel.
Have a selection of camo/pattern types that you can put on any armor…instead of having a given pattern stuck to a certain set of armor. Opinions are desired.
Exactly what I want as well in Halo 5. TBH, when I got the CIO Web, I thought it was just a skin that you can use on any armor, but once I heard its for specific armors, that was a turn-away moment.
Even with the Recon. As much as I love the Standard, I really wanted to see another skin for it (SURGE wasn’t really cool looking, tbh). If the next title has that feature, I think it will really make our day,

I like that idea: have skins like in Halo 4, but apply them to whatever armor piece the player is wearing.
I wouldn’t want players to be able to customize textures on their armor too much. Back in the Halo 2 LAN days, my friends and I would change our team colors depending on what map we were playing in order to camouflage ourselves: purple on Midship, brown on Relic, etc. My concern is that some customizable textures may provide players with an unfair camouflage-like advantage (the same reason the color black isn’t an armor color option). If it can be implemented without imbalancing the game, then my concerns are addressed.
The reason that they took black armor color out in Halo is -Yoink-. If you have the right colors, HAZOP Forest is incredibly effective for camoflage, especially on Longbow. So, not having it for ‘Camoflage reasons’ is pretty poor of them.
I hope they think about it, with halo 4 there were hundreds of armour sets which you could only wear one at a time with limited variation. If 343 is set on lots of customisation, it should be less choice and more variation.
