Most likely chiefs visor just stating his current firmware that was last updated by cortana? but if he got his armour and its all fixed up would he not have a newer firmware?.

It’s not new armor. His H4 armor was simply repaired at the end of the 72 Hours arc in Halo Escalation.

They clearly haven’t gotten a new bios version to flash Chief’s suit with. That comes on July 29th.

Seriously though, Chief probably wanted his old armor or wouldn’t let them erase what little of Cortana he has left.

I literally posted about finding this an hour ago. I thought it was interesting. His HUD in Halo 4 stated, “ARMOR BIOS/A.DEKKA.0037.FALCON”. Now it says, “ARMOR BIOS//ORION II/CRTNA_C.233”
