This has likely been covered ad nauseum but I couldn’t find anything at hand, so forgive me for asking this again:
Do we know if it is possible for 343 to make additional armor and/or specializations available (by way of DLC or some other magical route) at future stages of the game? I know this was a big gripe on the old BNet Reach forums, so… anyone know? Much obliged!
Well if you remember the GRD helmet 343 was working on a way to get in the game but they ran out of time, so I believe it is possible to get DLC armor in Halo 4 but who know’s if they will.
I had GRD in mind when I wrote this. I’m just thinking about what happens after the Specializations are accounted for and we still have 1-2 years before Halo 5.
Caboose just isn’t the same without the original Mark IV (?) helmet!

It’s been a while since I last watched RvB, but this was the first thing I thought of when I found out that the helmet isn’t in the game . . . and I love that helmet . . . luckily I got over it though.
I bought the map pass as its 1000 points cheaper then it will be after the release of the first DLC.
I had found out after the Crimson map pack, all people who didn’t buy the map pass has to pay 1000 points for all 3 dlc’s. Whoever buys the map pas gets all three DLC map packs for the price of two…
I figured instead of 30 dollars, 20 is better, so I bought it, and if they do add Armor to the DLC< then it really is worth it…
The problem with adding content like this as DLC is that you need some way for ALL of the players in the game to download that content, without expecting them to pay for it.
There are really only two ways around that - put it on the disc OR make a free piece of DLC and bundle it with that.
