The weapon and armor kits for HCS have such cool visors and coatings it would be great to have them. Except you don’t unlock that coating or visor you can only ever use that coating if you look exactly like the base default Spartan, you can’t even apply kill effects to your BR is you have the weapon kit equipped. The kit should allow you to look like that if you equip it but buying the kit should give you access to all the individual things inside, I should be able to apply a kill effect to my BR with the cool hcs coating, I should be able to apply that coating and visor to my samurai core or other armor pieces. It shouldn’t be a cookie cutter system that eliminates all customization options, I remember reading the interviews where we were promised our dream Spartan for customizing, but then why are there so many restrictions to how you customize then?
Kits should’ve worked as bundles, giving you a pre-built armor set as well as owning the armor & accesories included in the bundle so you can equip certain pieces as you desire
unfortunately we got the blandest version of kits & it probably won’t change.
