So basicly it would allow you to disappear and re-respond you, maybe even allow you to change loadout. (Here is how I balence this)
You would not be able to use it anytime, but only when your shield is completely full. So you wouldnt be able to just exit a batle, but would need use tactics and timing as to not get dameged.
If this needs more balence: add a meter that must be full that empties when you take damage.
Further, there can be a delay before the teleportation takes place.
This could be used to quickly get the drop on an enemy and get out before his teamates can avenge him amoung other things.
Kinda like hologram it would be cool but also hard to master.

keep in mind that you can’t go where ever you want it would simply re-re-spawn you as if you had actually died.
I find Jetpack entertaining from time to time, but it definitely breaks maps because it allows people to bypass routes players were supposed to go through. This would be even worse, even if it couldn’t be used for escapes.
This would be a great custom game or specialized playlist AA, though. I’d like this better if it was a one time use, deplorable teleporter for the entire team. I din’t get why Halo can’t have both AA’s and equipment.
What about an EMP armor ability that drains both you AND your opponents shields? That way the skill is still there, it just depends on who has more skill to headshot the other person first.
No for multiplayer, yes for custom games, for machinima purposes. People shouldn’t just say no, this would be great for machinima, I could imagine the meta having this ability.
