So far I only that there is the ground slam one.
I want to know if there are anymore
There will be no armor abilities in Halo 5. What you’re refering to is a Spartan Ability.
Well, there was the Beta trailer which showcased some movements. I don’t remember them but apart from the trailer, nothing has been revealed about the Spartan Abilities.
*Spartan Abilities
I assume the other ones are that tackle, and some have suggested default thrusters.

Concept trailer is not a confirmation of anything.
We literally have no information on what the abilities are. All we know is:
-they are core player abilities, similar to dual-weilding in Halo 2, reloading, etc.
-They are spartan abilities, not armor abilities.
We’ll know what they are November 10th at the earliest.
While I haven’t looked at frankie’s explanation for a while, my impression was “New Spartan Abilities” was merely used to quickly convey “new things your spartan can do”, not necessarily something with the title of Spartan Abilities.
Halo changed a lot with halo 2 with the addition of dual-wielding, vehicle boarding, recharging health, heck, even wraith use. Playing CEA for the first time I really came to realize how much evolved from h1 to 2, and how much the franchise didn’t really change from there.
I think 343’s trying to pull another halo 2 in terms of franchise evolution, while sticking to the goals of competitive multiplayer.

Spartan abilities are pretty much armor abilities…they ruin the competitive aspect of the game. I’d rather not have them, than have them

We’ll see how they work, then we can decide whether or not they fit in with the competitive scene.
I will admit though, it does seem a bit sketchy. But maybe it’s something more along the lines of a mix between equipment and armor abilities. After all, they did say that the game with feature equal starts.
Yeah

Yeah, I feel the “Spartan abilities” phrase really didn’t deliver as intended. Its done nothing but confuse things, giving the AA crowd the ammo they want and the non-AA crowd the ammo that they want. With dual-wielding pretty much confirmed not in the game, we’re left wondering just what the heck is left. The Ground Pound thing really doesn’t look “Halo” in my mind… but the rest could work.
I think you’re absolutely right in terms of 2’s evolution and the direction for Guradians. 1-2 was the most radical leap between games; after that all the evolution was minimal. Until Halo 4 blew it all up, at least.
Guardians needs to be that next evolutionary leap, IMHO. My sincerest wish: an advanced close quarters melee system. Now that would be awesome.
I say keep Armor/Spartan abilities
