Armor abilities weren’t a bad idea. The real problem is that they were in LOADOUTS! Armor abilities and equipment would make a welcomed return if they were NOT included in loadouts. I think it would make make more sense for you to earn your advantage on the battlefield rather than spawn with it, unless it’s invasion or firefight. And still it would be interesting not to have loadouts in invasion or firefight. So what do all you think?

this has been brought up so many times now. im sorry, but i do not like custom loadouts
They should experiment with the loadouts more and apply certain weapons to each AA. Like, giving the DMR and Magnum to holo, giving the Plasma Pistol to AL and no secondary, etc.
> im sorry, but i do not like custom loadouts
This has nothing to do with custom loadouts.

Lol thanks.
they can have their own gametype but i dont want AAs in regular halo
They both were a problem and the starting maps…

I don’t want you in regular Halo, does this mean you’ll get confined to a little quarantined-off area of Matchmaking?
Oh, and:
- Capitalise the start of a sentence
- Capitalise the word “i”
- Don’t has an apostrophe in it
- Halo is a proper noun and should be capitalised
- Sentences should end with full stops

Custom games–>Weapons and damage–>Equipment–>Single use/Infinite recharge/Infinite use
If this isn’t implemented I will ask for it to be implemented again. You have been warned.

O_e
I’d definitely love them as powerups.

It also saves lives: lets eat grandma / Let’s eat, Grandma.
I agree that if they do return they should be map based and also I would like to see them try to make them more like Halo 3 equipment because with the equipment you just threw down somthing which had some sort of an effect(power drain, regen, etc…) and it only had 1 use where Reach’s AAs had infinite uses and effected the player themselves(Sprint,Al, etc…).

Love it!!! And I work for a competitor so it makes this story (that I haven’t heard before) even more enjoyable!
You’re right.
> You’re right.
And yet ‘everyone’ will -Yoink- and piss and moan and cry about how AAs ruined Halo.
You know, I just had a crazy idea.
(I’m a CE fan, and if someone else stated this idea I would probably flame them too, so I can understand where you guys are coming from)
What if we had some sort of a super suit? Some suit that allows for every armor ability? It would mean every body starts off with the same equipment like classic Halo, and it would also mean that you could counter other armor abilities with ease.
Also, the talk about grammar in this thread is actually proving to be quite entertaining.

AA’s are still a good idea for Halo. I just wish people would see past the disastrous effects that loadouts had upon their debut.
The should think more like unlimited/multiple-use-till-you-die equipment. How I longed for such in Halo 3.
Loadouts were a problem, but things like Invincibility DO NOT belong in Halo.
Do you remember the Regenerator in Halo 3? You didn’t spawn with it, but it was still awful and ridiculously overpowered.
