Halo 5 Needs customization like Reach, and H4 we need Arm, Leg, and Chest customization. Who agrees?
Many people do agree. This discussion has been around for a while. I hope they bring it back with H6. It’s not gonna happen for H5.

Not really. It be really pointless at this point. It would have been nice at launch however.
This, and the addition of battle damage would be SICK.

So true
I would still like it

Head
Shoulders (Knees and toes :P)
Gauntlets
Chest
Legs
VISR
Undersuit
Some of Reach’s little gizmos and other sub permutations like Wrist should have been both wrists, same with utility. but those mixed in with Halo 4’s Customization should be the best and most customizable spartan ever.
I agree, Halo 5’s customization could have done so much better. Although I’m with Reach customization, I’m still a more simpler person when it comes to customization, so I would much rather have a Halo 3 type of customization.

I would prefer something more akin to Halo 3 in the Spartan Customization:
- Helmet - Body - Arms (Left and Right) - LegsKeep it Clean.
I want shoulder and chest custom.
Arms and legs would be a set.
Its to late for 5 but i hope 6 has this.

Everybody agrees. Let’s hope for these options in H6.
I think returning to Halo 4’s level of customisable attributes would be best, but I would like to see the return of attachments from Reach.
I’ve already posted this before but I want a customization option like this:
Armor:
- Helmet - Visor - Chest - Shoulders - Forearms - Gloves - Legs - Boots - Undersuit - Slots for accessories (for things like pads, hood, scarfs, knives, bullets, etc.) - 3 slots of color for the armor and 2 slots of color for the undersuit.Emblems:
The level of customization of the other Halo games (Halo 3, 4 and Reach) that we can use in our armor.
100 percent agree with this biggest example i can think of is the scout helmet compared to the armour (especially the chest piece) i would love to be able to just change the chest piece to anything else but keep the shoulders. Hoping for it in H6.
Obviously this would require so much remodelling in order to make every single piece of armour mesh seamlessly slot with every other armour piece, and that will take so long to do. There are issues with a large amount of pieces, and the more you add the more complications will arise. Perfect fitting on one might not work for a dozen other pieces, so it becomes a real challenge making sure they all look practical, realistic, have a strong Halo aesthetic, but also do not clip at all.
Pity the guys who have to model all of that.
Having said that, I’m in favour of the one that’s been stated by a few of you:
Armor:
- Helmet - Visor - Shoulders - Chest - Arms - Legs - Undersuit - Accessories
And for clarification, I totally agree about the slots for knives, scarves etc, and the colour options for the Undersuit. That suit looks awesome in black, imo.
I think this is a great idea, but it only needs to be considered for Halo 6. I would much rather the gameplay be smooth and the maps be polished, rather than have more visual customization options. While visual customization is cool, there are an unlimited number of things they could add in this area. 343’s priority needs to be on the game’s core mechanics (finite) rather than visual customization (infinite).
@Genesis Rider - Both can be updated and worked on simultaneously. Art and Design team should be able to work on their stuff independently of the Coders and Development team.
I mean, I’d hope so. I’m not trying to be greedy here; I really want both, but I’m willing to wait for the customization, in favour of smooth gameplay.
This customization can be available via Halo Waypoint…
