… They released DLC before fixing very simple things in the game? File Share, custom game options, playlists, weapons balance, rank system. Not only should this game had all that, but it’s stuff developers can fix in a week, not 2 months and still be silent about it. How do you release DLC with a game clearly not finished?
Imagine you pay full price for a movie and yet scenes are missing in it. Then they release more scenes as an extended version, but it’s not the key missing scenes, and on top of that they charge you for it! Now you ask the director when you will be able to see those scenes, but he just runs and hides and won’t even acknowledge it. He already a has your money after all.
I’m sick of it.
I bought the Lord of the Rings trilogy before they released the extended additions. I ain’t even mad.

Haha, I seen those scenes. No one is missing anything. Halo 4 is actually missing important pieces, not extra footage of Sam smiling at Frodo in a uncomfortable way.
Most of what you listed aren’t things that need to be “fixed” they are things you want them to change. Fileshare was never broken, they’ve just yet to implement it. Custom games were cut, not broken. Playlists are fine, they’re adding and changing them soon enough, so that’s not broken either. Weapon balance is another opinion, not something they “need to fix” and the CSR is coming soon so yeah, why complain about that?
If you actually believe all of that is two weeks of work you probably need to do your homework friend.
Oh and the DLC wasn’t even made by 343 so acting as if they’re neglecting the game in favor of it is totally misguided.

It’s perception at work here. Average people are not going to understand how things get prioritized or delegated in the gaming industry. The general perception is that these were items/features that were in the other Halo games and have become staples. Those staple items are now not present, seriously gimped or broke. So, when someone sees dlc drop and the game is still missing items or has broken features the persons, justifiably, becomes upset.
Perception is a powerful thing. It’s what shapes how we view the world, form opinions and likes and dislikes. If the perception is that a company is brushing someone(s) off, then those people get angry or bitter. Just a fact of life.
Edit: It does not matter if what is perceived is true in reality. What matters is how that perception influences a persons perspective on what they believe to be true.

Fix was a poor word. Implement would have been better. A six year file browser not being there, that’s normal. Custom games getting cut for no reason, no that’s logical, I bet the almost 200 page compliant thread are just a bunch of people blowing hot air. Taking out playlist that have been apart of halo since 2, bet Bungie was never clever enough to think of that. Weapon balance is broken, the only opinion is how broken. CSR has been used for 2 different games but still didn’t make it in time. Nope, should thank the all might 343 gods for that.
So 343 doesn’t even have to worry about DLC, so in these 2 months they could of been working on… Umm… The uh… Grenade super throw. What a game breaking glitch! Oh god thank you 343 for taking out the popular halo playlist, custom game options, CSR, and file system that I traveled 6 years in the past to use but can’t use it now. I’m so ungrateful right?
No. DLC had to be planned out. Cost of making games has increased… Naturally this should result in games costing more… Right? DLC makes up for that loss.
So I am not mad because of DLC.
However I am disappointed with:
Glitches (glad most are fixed already)
DMR rate of fire (kills faster than BR so guess what utility weapon I use most?)
Maps have butt tons of vehicles, so I feel pretty forced to spawn with plasma pistol and plasma nades
Keep getting matched with teammates that have no mic/ love running up to enemies/ FailMates
And so many buttons in campaign/ Spops
Most important issue that bites me the most… Halo 4 sold me on the statement “custom games are now fully customizable”
No precision tool in forge (Reach had a good one)
Halo 3 forge glitch where moving camera low to floor moves the object (Reach fixed this, why is glitch back)
Halo 3 forge fail that centers your camera when you select a object (Reach fixed this, why is this fail back?)
Can’t remove instant respawn
Cant force instant respawn either
Flag setting aren’t as customizable as in Reach
Flood options also fail compared to infection in Reach.
Missing gametypes (this is probably lowest on my wish list but it still hurts not having Race)
H4 vs HR
I forged at least 50 maps and saved over 200 maps on Reach…
Forged like 2 and saved less than 10 on Halo 4.
I expected H4 to crush Reach under its boots. In regards to forge and custom games, I can’t say it even matches… It sports halo 3 glitches and fails for crying out loud Reach already fixed that damn it.
I think they should work on what they should’ve in the first place before they introduce anything else that’s been half–Yoinked!- and/or rushed.
