You know I really like H5. The only problem is now that I am diamond people seem to quit a lot and I can’t advance because of it. I get to diamond 2 only to drop back to diamond 1. I’ve been in so many matches that ended up 2vs 4. This happens so early in the game. What can I do? It just seems somewhat unfair. I like the ranking but it is flawed.
I’m not sure I’d call that a ranking problem. It’s a quitting problem. And it keeps getting worse with every new version of the game. MCC was unplayable and it’s starting to look as if Guardians is on the same trajectory. Back in the day the standard advice was, “Get a team, don’t match with randoms.” That’s really great in theory, but next to impossible in practice. I guess we just have to wait to see if the quits bans have any real teeth, and then wait for the season to re-set and start the whole process all over again.

What I mean is my team quit so much I never win games I stay at diamond 1 because of it.
That sucks! Can you drop below diamond 1 if your team keep quitting?
Banning people will not stop people quitting, but perhaps quitters aren’t the problem? When I play arena I see a lot of bad match ups with rank. A whole team of golds vs a team of diamonds or a group of platinums agains people still doing their 10 game pre-rank. Perhaps if the match ups were more even, there would be less people quitting?
All quit ban’s do is cause gamers to play other games. And if people are playing other games, they’re not playing halo and matchmaking will get … lonely.
I like recon zeros idea, get a team of 4 together.
