Arena Splitscreen (Only 2 players)

So the reason for no splitscreen was due to the fact that Halo 5 had to maintain accommodations for large environments and enhanced AI intelligence. So because of this it is understandable why it isn’t in campaign or Warzone. But what about the other modes? Wouldn’t splitscreen work if it were only allowed in Arena? Since the play spaces are small and there are no AI there. Even if it was just one other player joining rather than the full 3.

What do you guys think?

Not sure where you got your info from but I heard it was to maintain consistent 60fps. Which is in all gamemodes, eliminating the chance of Splitscreen happening. It would be a cluster -Yoink- in matchmaking with some people at 60fps and others at 30

The official line was that SS wont work with 60fps, and the game doesn’t work without 60fps.
