I’m trying to get an idea of where everyone spends most of their time on H5. Are you in Social? Warzone? Arena? Or do you spend equal amounts of time in all of them?
Ranked = Social > Warzone Firefight > Warzone > Customs > Campaign
Campaign just isn’t as fun in Halo 5 so I don’t spend much time there.
Seems as though I find myself playing Warzone Firefight (Heroic & Legendary) way too often. Besides that I play SWAT, Team Slayer, Super Fiesta, Snips (Mystic Shotty Snips right now), Action Sack, FFA, BTB, Proving Grounds (b4 turning into the HCS Summer Preview), Team Arena (because where else could I play non-slayer based objectives within Rank’s matchmaking?), Breakout, and to a lesser extent Warzone Assault, Warzone, plus Custom Games. I wish the Social Team Skirmish playlist was a mixed bag of non-slayer based objectives such as CTF, Strongholds, 1-Site Extraction, Ricochet, and Oddball because then I’d have a reason to play it.
Anything in the Warzone section. Gives me the same satisfaction that Big Team used to give me in the past (and doesn’t today), possibly even more so. I’ll stop by Social if I’m in the mood for some Super Fiesta or Infection. I only play Ranked for the emblem at the end of the season, which I have all of them except the March 2016 season. That, and generally just to see how far I can get in the ranks.
Customs>War Zone>Social>Ranked
Mostly because going solo in ranked can be annoying when set against a good team with mics I know this can happen with most playlists but since you’re ranked on it I don’t like getting plat and then going down to like gold 2 after one bad game AKA I get salty at ranks
WZ and Social mostly, the Social has a wider range of gametypes then ranked.
Warzone and Social.
Warzone Firefight > Arena > Social > Customs > Campaign
I spend a lot of time in Warzone Firefight. You and your teammates get to work together to fight countless enemies and complete objectives within 5 rounds. A lot is going on to keep you occupied and I usually don’t get salty over a match. It also gives a lot of XP and REQ points in the shortest amount of time (best for anyone wanting to buy and unlock permanent REQs). Arena and Social are alright. Arena for me is to be a little more competitive in the game and know my rank during the season (just seeing how good I been doing). Social has some non-serious but fun playlist. The turn-off I been getting recently from both are rage quitters. Custom Games, personally, are only fun when you have friends on to play along with. Campaign is just done once and never come back, not much of a replay value. It just doesn’t have that memorable feeling back in Halo 3 where some of the levels are enjoyable to play and come back to.
Warzone and Customs.
WZFF > any one of the ranked in Arena > Social > Costumes > Campaign.
Before I had everything, It was WZ (for the daily win pack), because FF was not out yet, then over to SWAT (for the daily win pack), then back to WZ, strictly for the REQ points. Now I play for fun more than anything else, so what ever mode I feel like at the moment. Now with WAYPOINT COMMUNITY CUSTOMS NIGHTS 2.0 and COMMUNITY CARNAGE NIGHT - FEEDBACK AND THOUGHTS I’m having a blast in customs. On very rare occasions I will go into the campaign and play a few missions.
Warzone. It’s the closest thing to what I used to get out of EQ/DAoC/WoW.
I spend the most time in Arena followed closely by Warzone then Social.
Social > Arena > Warzone > Campaign
I mostly play Social and Warzone Firefight. Never really touch Warzone PVP and Arena is on a rare occasion.
Most of the time in ranked and social
I do a little bit of everything. Most of my time is spent in btb. If they seperated skirmish into social slayer and social objective, I would probably be in social slayer all day
WZ generally, unless it’s a bad day then I’ll head over to Social (BTB, Griffball, or whatever else). I used to do Team Arena, but I haven’t been in there so long that I’d need to play a lot of catch up with the newer maps. So I tend to stay away unless I’m on a team that wants to play it. Then there’s less pressure on me lol
Well, it’s not my intention to be a 343 hater that’s always being negative and pessimistic about the state of Halo… I don’t want to be that person… buuuuuut, honestly, I struggle to come up with reasons to play Halo 5 anymore. I have fun in almost nothing except maybe Firefight. Being extremely unskilled despite my best efforts to get better, pretty much every PVP mode is just too competitive and high skill gap for me to enjoy, I get pubstomped in every playlist ranked or social… and the campaign gameplay is good, but the story is just too awful to ignore. So when I have almost no fun playing it, I genuinely do struggle to come up with a reason why I should play it. I always have infinitely more fun in the older games, so I keep going back to them.
Wow. After reading the feedback, I’m surprised at what I’m seeing! I thought the majority of you would have Arena first! Very interesting!
Mostly ranked and social. Used to grind warzone assualt and regular wz. Kinda’ hate firefight and only played the campaign a few times.
