I searched but couldn’t find the proper info on this…

It starts with the Placement Matches, once that’s done, you’re ranked based on the performance of the team/number of wins you got. So i started out at CSR (GOLD), and i’ve read couple of articles that says whenever you’re in a tier (GOLD in this situation), if you keep losing matches, you won’t go below this tier, you can only advance in rank within a tier, but i’ve noticed couple of friends that got demoted to BRONZE… so, if you keep losing you will eventually reach BRONZE?

also, how many matches won you need to advance in rank within a tier?

You can’t be demoted from Gold to Bronze is any specific ranked playlist…they may be ranked Gold in one playlist and Bronze in another.

Ok great, maybe they didn’t notice it’s different on each playlist…

So, how about the number of matches to move from one rank to another within the same tier? any page with all the info related to that?

Im not getting match stat . Anyone having this problem? It looked like something was happening but nope. Still no match stats

I would like to see more of a penalty for leaving match making games because a lot of people leave after they start to leave

Those placement matches matter way too much in my opinion,if u get lucky u get a high rank right off the bat. But if you’re good and get struck with bad teams and lose,u get placed in the lower ranks and it takes a while to rank up.

It’s around 3-4 wins in a row to rank up. It works like how killstreak quests in destiny work. As long as you win more matches than you lose, you will rank up. Wins give 1 point towards ranking up, losing or quitting takes away a point.
