Am I the only one who is not happy with how the ranking system in Halo 5 works? I constantly am the leader of the lobby in kills and deaths. Some games I will go 30-5 but because of my teammates that go 4-16 and 1-10 I will still lose the game. And my CSR has to suffer because of it. I understand that team work is important but should it be the ONLY thing that matters when it comes to ranking? I really enjoy playing SWAT but because of my bronze/silver ranking it is not fun. There is no competitive factor to it when all I do is run around and kill everyone on the other team while my teammates cant even get a kill. All of my team mode game types are in the bronze or silver classification but when I play FFA, on a team by myself I have diamond. I’m not saying that I am the best player ever but it is frustrating to be constantly losing games while I lead the lobby and to still suffer a CSR deduction. Anyone else agree?
The ranking system has been F’d since last week. All onyxs’ are mostly 1500, landing 2nd place in FFA doesnt level up anymore. even if you get 1st, you only gain 2-4 csr points. penalties for losing are massive
then play with a team or dont play team playlists

Its now affecting team games and lower ranks. Im.fed up with seeing my csr way down due to 343s incompetence. It took dosens of games to get.
Completely agree. It’s the main reason I avoid team based games because doing well doesn’t mean anything if the team loses. I was enjoying FFA until 343 completely f’ed that up too. Coming in second ranks a player down?? How the hell does that make sense? I’ve come in higher than diamond players and still rank down because I didn’t come in first. Explain that garbage?!
i don’t know where halo 5 is going with the weapons balance wish 343 would tell us about the changes and nerfs to weapons like spartan charging utterly useless now and ffa has become a campers fest half the map isn’t even used anymore and the power ups so much for them being contested they just sit their rotting away like the sniper or beam rifle sometimes and the plasma caster defiantly is left to rot for a entire game i sometimes am the only one using it to gain a edge in a hot zone of the map i love the halo francise but halo 5 feels like a job now not a game but work as stated in previous post where destiny lacks content and direction but at least is fun to play and their needs to be a dedicated social playlist added where matchmaking penalties don’t apply not everyone has time to stay in a match when something important comes up and the arena ranking system needs to go and it should be like the classic halo raning system instead not playlist ranks which are completely broken now and i am stuck at diamond 1 like many other ppl un tell 343 fixes the ranking issues that i think were caused by the hammer of storms update >_> ?
