So I was wondering how the Arena CSR system works in depth. I know the more games you win when you’re unranked gets you a higher chance at a better playlist rank when you’ve completed those 10 games. Today, I was playing breakout and won all 10 unranked games but got put in a pretty low rank. Why is this? Have any of you had similar problems?
I looked at your game history and saw that you played silvers, golds, and unranked in your ranking games. Silver 6 seems about right.
The ranking system also takes rankings from previous seasons into account. Your service record tells me that you previously ranked Bronze and Silver in Breakout quite a while back, which may be part of it.
The system does put you near where you finished last season no matter how well you do in placements. You may rise or fall a bit, but as you saw even winning all 10 basically does nothing (and neither does losing all 10). I am not a fan of the waste of time placement matches or season resets.
I’m more confused than ever cause I drop more ranks in placements than what I earn before the season is over.
After placement I rank up a bit but in the next placement I drop by 3 times of what ever I did previously. It’s been like that for the past 4 placements roughly.
