I love Halo 5, however there are a few things that I don’t enjoy, and the arena ranking system is one of them. I was not that good at Halo 5 once it came out, and didn’t play much from February until June. When I got back into the game I practiced and improved and started to do well. I was already in Gold and could not move up so I waited until the fall season. When that happened, I started grinding. In my qualification matches for Team Arena I got killing sprees every game and killing frenzies every other game. I played the Objective well and our team won 75% of the time. After all of this, I placed in Gold 3,GOLD 3! And,so far I can’t move up to diamond because I was either placed with bad teammates or members of the other team are smurfing. It infuriates me and it needs to change in Halo Six.
I play solo most of the time, and yes it is hard to rank up. You must play with a team and you will rank up.
The Problem is that none of my friends play Halo and I do not enjoy playing with people I don’t know personally.

With life being so busy, this is why I go in solo most of the time.
The game is designed for team play.

I like it because it takes a long time to get to the top for XP (SR: 152) so this is nice that it actually takes hard work to obtain. On the flip side Arena ranks are separate which allows competitive players to prove themselves again and again each season.

Oh I meant arena ranks not the ranking system. That I don’t mind. I have made it more clear now.

Gotchya… Well the arena ranks aren’t perfect but they’re better than nothing. My favorite Halo ranking system was the one from Halo 2.
I think you are being somewhat generous with saying it’s ‘not that good’ OP. I have used somewhat harsher terms.
