343 has done so much for the competetive community recently with the implementation of the TU and having open dialogue with MLG.
Frankie has even posted on the MLG forums sine 343 took over halo!
With damage bleed and ZB now a possibility, 343 has basically saved the halo MLG community.
We would REALLY appreciate if the MLG playlist had the arena ranking system.
I can at least speak for myself when i say that a major part of my love for halo3 was that the ranked playlists provided me with the drive to get a 50 and real motivation to win every game.
MLG is all about competition.
Sure there will always be sad people that will cheat to win but these people exist in reach even without a ranking system (even in btb lol).
But a ranked MLG playlist will no longer make it a competetive joke with teams of for MLG pros being matched with lone searching novices.
Added to that, the playlist population will increase drastically due to the influx of players who normally play custom games due to unfair matchups and no winning incentive.
At the moment the MLG playlist is a bit of a joke and is basically only useful as a warmup for the community.
Let’s implement arena ranking and bring it back to the halo3 glory days!
P.S When will the playlist gametypes/maps be updated?
