I can no longer relax when playing slayer, i have to strategize and concentrate and be quickscoping. Relax for 2 seconds, you get killed over, and over, and OVER. I guess I’m a scrub for wanting fun, come and attack the comments competitive community~ And I’m not waiting a year for 343i to release non-ranked Slayer and other gametypes. I may sound entitled, but i’m not putting a single strand of effort in a video game,

Even teambeyond.net(which is essentially the MLG forums) is baffled by the lack of social playlists.

The community has spoken if you want fun, play another game. Halo is not meant for the relaxed crowd like us OP.

Yeah it does kinda suck that you can’t relax while playing arena. I would like to see a social playlist were you can kickback, like casual in csgo.
Big team battle will be the savings grace for the non-competitive players. But I’ve said this before, with the new ranking system you should be playing with people in your skill level.

Social playlists will get added, Your arguments would probably be more effective if you and the other people who want social playlists would make 1 thread and keep that 1 alive instead of making so many 5 reply threads. Anyway - so I just play the game and what happens - happens - crazy, right? I’m not a halo pro and I’m not a scrub, it’s okay to be average/below average/above average. I just want new gametypes as most of the ones we have now are some form of slayer (prefer objectives).

Maybe to make rank seemed more robust?
THe seasons and what not are cool, but eh, emblems are kinda meh as rewards so why break your controller or neck to get an emblem, I wanna game for fun!
Do you need a whole different playlist? Won’t that negatively affect matchmaking for everyone, and make the ranked playlist itself even MORE MLG centric?
I’d rather not have another playlist, but instead have the option to play the SAME playlist in “Unranked Mode”
That’s what Starcraft 2 does.

Honestly I don’t feel like the ranking system even feels like a ranking system. It’s more of a fair game system, bronzes play with bronzes, onyx with onyx, with bleed above and below ranks here and there. I say if you’re a bronze embrace it, no one should ever talk crap to you because they are a higher rank than you, everyone is enjoying the same game!

Just realize that for everything you wish they had at ship, they would have to remove something they DID have.
Everything on that list takes time for a developer to get ready for a live service, especially huge things like forge.

But it doesn’t matchmake you on your division. It matches you based on a hidden skill. So even if you’re “stuck” too high, it will match you low.
